IT Application Manager for BI, Data and Financial Applications at Mycronic PG Business IT Applications

Your challenge – and what you can expect

As the IT Application Manager for BI, Data and Financial Applications, you will primarily work with our Business Intelligence platforms—QlikView, QlikSense, and Microsoft Power BI—supporting a wide range of reports, from in-depth financial analyses to lightweight dashboards. You will also be responsible for enabling the business related to the divisions' financial systems and above all improvements around data presentation and analysis (business intelligence and beyond).

In this position, you will also work with our financial and project management systems, including Medius (Automated Accounts Payable), Infor M3 (ERP), and Antura (Project, Portfolio and Time reporting system) as well as any future system alignments in this domain.

We just started a journey to align reporting, to master data and structured integration to our new company-wide data platform, built on Azure Data Fabrics, to enable more efficient integrations, data-consistency including reporting.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing application enhancements, development, and maintenance to support business objectives. You will chair both Change Control Boards (CCB), one for BI and one for Medius/Financial tool development and drive the Finance Master Data Domain development together with other data-domain-drivers.

You will collaborate closely with Business Owners, administrators, power users, external developers, and integration leads. Regular reporting will be required to main governance structure in Tool Steering Group. Key Responsibilities:

• You will have both strategic and operational responsibility and ensure and improve Mycronic's BI and financial development throughout the entire system lifecycle.
• Support incidents and troubleshooting, as well as global system rollouts.
• Lead small to medium -sized projects and manage change requests for continuous improvement.
• Overall responsibility also to align with cybersecurity compliance within the BI and Financial suit of applications.
• Structure data and system usage for efficient lifecycle administrations data management initiatives.
• Learn and understand the detailed implementation and business needs of the systems you manage.

You will belong to the growing team of “Business IT Applications” which of today consists of four application managers, one infrastructure responsible and one portfolio manager (consultant). In addition we are 5 IT application specialists (and consultant developers) representing different tooling groups like PLM, SCM & Finance, CLM and Common IT/OT and in use by to the division of Pattern Generation and PCB-Assembly Solutions and to some extent also by Corporate Office.

Who you are – and what you will need to succeed

• You have a perennial experience of working within IT handling, especially in the Qlik architecture and front-end-capabilities including report development, support and troubleshooting.
• You understand the challenges of bringing structure of data to achieve solid BI/reporting/UX/alerts etc and to bring efficient decision making for the future. You find it natural working together with System Owners, Business Power Users, Application specialists and developers to continuously improve the system.
• As a person you´re thorough and you have the ability to work both in a group and alone. You feel responsible for your duties and your great interest within IT makes it natural for you always being up to date within your area of expertise. To thrive in the role at Mycronic, we believe that you are motivated by a fast-changing environment where your ability to prioritize and reprioritize comes into its own.
• As we´re a small department working close it’s important that you are prestigeless to work both with details and strategic views and find it natural to help your colleagues with surrounding tasks when needed. In addition, you are structured and have an ability to plan, organize and prioritize your work effectively. You can also independently set up plans for your work and build structures that others can use and work according to.
• Finally, you are a persistent person and are able to work hard and stay motivated in a fast-paced environment. You take responsibility, show commitment and do what is necessary to achieve your and Mycronic's goals.
• In addition to the above we see it as strongly preferred, but not required, with a post-secondary-education within Computer science or Industrial engineering or similar.
• Mycronic is an international company and professional written and spoken English is required. Written and spoken Swedish is a strong asset.
